Stu

Stu's track record as a musician is long and distinguished. To name but a few, he and the Stu Page band have worked with Ricky Scaggs, Kris Kristofferson, James House, Jim Glaser, Bobby Bare, Billie Jo Spears, Gail Davies and Carl Perkins. In British Country he has produced albums for lona & Andy and The Haleys. He composed the music for "A Brush With Ashley" on Yorkshire TV, and also plays mandolin and "a bit of fiddle". He is learning the piano "picking it up as I go".

When asked about his experiences over the years as a guitarist and singer, like many full-time musicians Stu reckons he could write a book! His favourite quotation comes from the British Country Music Awards ceremony at Pebble Mill Studios a couple of years ago which he and Andy attended due to their nomination in five categories. David Allen of the BBC had been chatting to Martina McBride from the States about her new baby, followed by a satellite-linked interview with Willie Nelson in Nashville. After this David turned to his co-presenter and said "Well Martina, I bet you like Willie, don't you?"

VINCE EAGER is a name synonymous with British pop. As a member of the legendary "Larry Parnes stable", along with Tommy Steele, Marty Wilde, Billy Fury and Joe Brown, Vince became a household name.

In the early days of pop, the press were reluctant to give credit to the live stage work of the members of the pop establishment. Vince however was one of the few who did receive due recognition for being a true professional.

Throughout his 50 years in the entertainment industry, the consistent factor has been Vince's success as a live performer. From his cabaret and theatre appearances to his 5 year starring role in the award winning West End musical "ELVIS". Vince continues to receive the plaudits of the press, his peers and his audiences.

Vince's easy going manner, his rich powerful voice and his commanding stage presence have stood the test of time

Over the past few years Hayley has regularly performed with various Artists and Bands. A chance meeting with Lee Ellis at Buds Country Music Store 5 years ago lead to the idea of Hayley forming her own band.
After many years of trying to bring this idea to fruition and overcoming the busy schedules of both Hayley and Lee, the band began to take shape.
Lee drafted in two friends Nigel Nesbitt and Wayne Lee from the band Rare Breed.   Lee, Nigel and Wayne had the honour of performing with Country Legend Albert Lee and supporting him on various occasions across the country, with Rare Breed.  With bass and Keyboards in place, Lee then looked to another friend Scott Gladman on Acoustic Guitar and Julian McLaren (Marianne Faithful/Sean Maguire) on Drums.

This incarnation came together after Charlie Hart and Steve Simpson realized that they were not alone in their lasting affection for Ronnie and their sky-high regard for his songs. Films have been made, celebration concerts staged, articles written, covers recorded.... now for the rebirth of the band!

The aim is to create a show which celebrates the range of Ronnie's later music: to take this show to people in village halls and clubs, festivals and theatres at home and abroad; and eventually, joined by numerous friends, to resurrect the Passing Show itself.

From left to right, the line up is Steve Simpson, guitar, mandolin, fiddle; Charlie Hart, accordion, fiddle, piano; Steve Bingham, bass; Alun Davies, guitar; Colin Davey, drums. They have now been joined by Geraint Watkins, organ, piano. The whole band sings!
