THIS WEBSITE IS STILL www.thestetson.info.
Ravenshead Village Hall Management Committee started presenting live music at the hall in 1984. A small team including village hall committee members was formed to run the events. The project was given the title of "The White Stetson CMC" (later changed to "The Stetson") and the mission was, to present the finest live music for our audiences that we could be found, whatever the genre, but mainly Country Music. We suppose it boils down to basically presenting music that we like and that covers a very wide selection of tastes. We like variety in music and we hope you will too. Revenue from these shows was, and still is used to the benefit of the Village Hall.
After 31 years The Stetson has now moved on and regular shows under that banner ceased at the end of 2015. However, the occasional Stetson shows will still take place at the Village Hall. The style of these shows will cover a wider varity for Ravenshead people.
Some shows at the hall during 2016 will NOT be Stetson shows and these will be publicised elsewhere, so watch out to get information.
It is essential that whatever the genre, the music is to be of the finest quality, it is live and more importantly they are concerts held at Ravenshead Village Hall.
So come along and enjoy some of the finest musicians around.
